"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 16 may see Rayna transfer Stefan's mark on Damon. The next installment of the hit CW series is slated to air on Apr. 1, 2016.
The Inquisitr reported that the extended promo for "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 16 has been released. It is entitled "Days of Future Past."
The upcoming episode is directed by Ian Somerhalder, who made his directorial debut last year. It was noted that episode 16 will see Somerhalder's character, Damon, strive to make things back to rights with his brother, Stefan.
"In an attempt to make things right with his brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) offers to have Stefan's (Paul Wesley) scar magically transferred to him, only to discover that doing so may come with some unexpected consequences," Spoilers Guide wrote. "With time running out and Rayna (guest star Leslie-Anne Huff) closing in on Stefan, Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) desperately attempts to reason with Damon before it's too late."
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 16 will also feature Enzo (Michael Malarkey) trying to clear up his name after he was accused of freeing Rayna from The Armory. His violent run-in with Nora (guest star Scarlett Byrne), though, will uncover an unsettling discovery.
The extended promo video for the upcoming episode showed Rayna catching up with Stefan. The huntress then asked the Salvatore brother if he is ready to let Damon go. This could mean that Stefan will agree to transfer his mark to his brother.
The publication noted that "TVD" stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have signed new contracts for the renewal of the series. With this, episode 16's story may finally deal with Rayna and keep the Salvatore brothers safe.
According to IBT, Rayna volunteered to transfer the mark to Damon. If this would happen in "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 16, it would send the Salvatore brother inside the Phoenix Stone.
