"Fast 8" has still a year to go before it hits theaters in 2017, but fans are already curious to know on what type of vehicles they can see in the movie. A new impreza, Subaru WRX STI is said to be included in the upcoming film.
Recently, the cast of "FF8" which includes Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson head on to the icy plains of Akranes in Iceland for their shooting. Jalopnik tipped that "Fast and Furious 8" will use multiple Ripsaw ATVs and armored trucks including "Murciélagos, Imprezas and a Rally Fighter."
One reader of the outlet also informed the new vehicles seen in the docks of Portland that will be used in the movie. According to the reader named Michelle, she saw "large tractor trailers" belonging to Universal Studios that transports "four tracked vehicles labeled U.S. Army, two heavily modified Dodge trucks, and a number of "humvee type" vehicles."
Although the production behind "Fast 8" is not divulging too much information regarding the vehicles that will be used in the set, Torque news suggests that Subaru WRX STI, the newest vehicle in the car company might be included in "FF8."
According to the report, the 2016 Subaru WRX STI is being transported in the location of the movie. The vehicle described as an "all-white 2016 Subaru WRX STI was seen with special rally wheels and roll cage inside for the special effects filming." Due to the movie's intensive required scenes, the car is also considered for modifications that involves "new film with body panels, blacked-out tail lights, rear bumper."
The countless vehicles used for the previous "Fast and Furious" installments were also unwavering for its awesome features. Mazda RX-7 appeared in several installments including "2 Fast 2 Furious" and "Tokyo Drift." While the other suave vehicles used in the other installments were RB-Swapped 1967 Ford Mustang, 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1987 Buick GNX, Corvette Grand Sport, Jensen Interceptor and many more.
