The Galaxy Note 6 release date will reportedly happen before Apple's iPhone 7's launch. It is believed that Samsung's highly-anticipated phablet will be available in August this year.
According to Ecumenical News, there are expectations that the tech giant will give the Galaxy Note 6 release date the same timeline as last year. Although Samsung has not given any official announcements, there are a lot of fans who believe that the phablet will be ready by August.
It was previously reported that Samsung may have slated the Galaxy Note 6 release date in August before the IFA 2016 in Berlin. This would give the tech giant a chance to get ahead of Apple when it introduces the iPhone 7.
Apple's iPhone 7 release date will reportedly be introduced by mid-September, along with iPhone 7 Plus, Cheat Sheet noted. September is usually the time for the company to launch its iPhones.
The upcoming phablet is said to have a 5.8-inch display, an inch bigger than its predecessor. There are also speculations that the Galaxy Note 6 release date will offer 6 GB of RAM to buyers as well as 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage options.
Moreover, it is assumed that Samsung is developing a hybrid design for its future Note devices. The Galaxy Note 6 may be a handset that can be docked with a large-form tablet, which can also be docked with a keyboard.
This allows it to become a laptop. All the processing power, though, would come from the phone.
Christian Times reported that Galaxy Note 6 will likely have Samsung Gear VR headset integration. This comes with the device's speculated Quad HD display.
"As of the moment, Samsung is showing aggressiveness in promoting the Gear VR headset as it comes free for Galaxy S7 preorder customers," the website wrote. "With the Galaxy Note's expected 4K resolution, it is highly probable that it can deliver crisp and high-quality gameplay which makes it possible to use a Gear VR headset as well."
