Moreover, the Nexus 7 specs is widely believed to have a 7-inch display and powered by NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor. It may also have 4 GB of RAM.
There are speculations that the Nexus 7 2016 release date will happen this May 18 to 20 at Google's annual I/O Developer's conference. Other reports claim that the device would be launched in October.
Yibada commented that the Nexus device is rumored to be a disappointment. The publication urged consumers to hold off in buying the phone when it gets released.
It was noted that with the device running on Android N, there is no new software for the buyers to look out for. Plus, HTC phones are said to have failed to sustain consumer's interest.
Furthermore, Nexus devices have become pricey without super impressive features that overpower other companies' flagships. The publication added that current Nexus devices have fair specs and there are also other alternatives in the market.
