Barbara Garcia's home was leveled by a massive tornado on Monday. During an interview with CBS News, she said, "I hollered for my little dog and he didn't answer, or didn't come, so I know he's in here somewhere," not expecting to find her dog alive.

But in a few seconds, the reporter pointedly shouted, "The dog! The dog!" They stumbled upon a metal box that held her dog.

She told the station, “I thought God just answered one prayer, to let me be okay. He answered both of them. Because this was my second prayer.”

Ms. Garcia says she was hiding in her bathroom when the twister hit. The dog "Bowsie" was on her lap. They were separated when the debris came down and the survivor suffered minor scrapes and bruises.
