Jake Davidson became a overnight celebrity when he boldly asked Katie Upton to be his prom date on March 13. The beautiful 20-year-old kept his hopes up accepting his invitation, saying that she'll have to check her schedule.
Apparently, that schedule had a prior engagement and she had to pull out at the last minute. But that didn't leave Jake dateless for the night, as she arranged her former 21-year-old colleague Nina Agdal to be her replacement.
The Danish Victoria's Secret, Billabong, and Sports Illustrated Model shouts excitedly, "I picked out my dress and now I'm ready for prom!"
The tort and lucky young man of course insisted that he is okay with his sweetheart canceling. He says, "While I would have loved for Kate to come to my prom, I understand she is a very busy and in-demand professional. I am so grateful for Kate responding at all."
Jake humorously stated when he was speaking to Kate Upton: "You are the yin to my yang. I'm Jewish, five-foot-nine-inches on a good day and I can't dance. At all. You're Christian, five-foot-ten-inches, and that Cat Daddy video should have won Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny."
Nina Agdal will attend prom at Miliken Community High School. The fortunate senior will be attending the University of Southern California.
