Electric cars and vehicles are slowing undermining the cars and vehicles powered by gas and fuels. However, speculations are rising regarding Tesla Motors holding the keys to dominate the electric vehicle market.
It is an undeniable fact that Tesla and other electric carmakers such as the Nissan Leaf have transformed the streets and skylines of the metropolitan cities. It has also made its mark into the narrow and populated streets of the western world. However, as the competition grows fiercer by the day, Tesla has been speculated to undermine its competitors in the days to come.
However, on the side note, the rising presence of Tesla in the market has indicated how volatile the business market truly is. While Tesla rises higher, other companies are facing a downturn. To confirm the notion, it was just recently that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles sacked 1,300 employees working at the firm's Michigan Assembly Plant, as noted by Jobs & Hire.
A former report from Value Walk has revealed, "More than 325,000 pre-bookings for the Model 3 electric car it launched on March 31 were noted and that corresponds to about $14 billion in implied future sales, making this the single biggest one-week launch of any product ever, and the deliveries are set to begin in 2017."
Owing to the rising figures, Tesla may well be on the way to mainstreaming the electric vehicle market for itself and its competitors, and since the wide appeal of the Model 3 seems to command the road, the bookings have also led to surprising outcomes for the company as well, as noted by the same post.
To prove the latter, "Electric vehicles increasingly are being seen not necessarily as green or as a way to save on fuel costs, but as incredibly powerful, with amazing acceleration, and fun to drive," said Wharton management professor John Paul MacDuffie, an automobile industry expert.
It stands to reason that the hybrid cars are generating a new era of travel and comfort for the car enthusiasts and carmakers must keep up the pace to ensure that Tesla is not the only one that can get to enjoy the benefits of this newest trend.
