Women Entrepreneurs Grow With Capital, Courage And Fearlessness

Women-owned businesses are increasing and the same goes with the growth of female entrepreneurship as a whole. However, DOL has it that businesses owned by women are still likely to be smaller than those owned by men. Which is why women like Elizabeth Gore have gathered at the Circular Board Summit to work together in narrowing the gender gap and break that glass ceiling.

Circular Board organizer Carolyn Rodz says, "The statistics are dismal, and we are the people capable of changing them." Her goal is to recruit the right resources and build partnerships. Ultimately, finding capital and place the right mentors needed to help move businesses. Entrepreneur has quoted some of the top women business leaders to encourage you to grow through capital, courage and fearlessness:

1. The founder and CEO of Women Rising, Sara Hirsh Bordo aims to focus on mothers and young girls who don't have the ambition to get to the table. She explains, "It's difficult for women to become what they haven't seen, so we need to shine a light on what's working over and over and over again. Let's prioritize positive storytelling around women and entrepreneurship, making the focus profit, people and purpose."

2. Dell Business Woman Elizabeth Gore says, "The one thing that does not need to change is that women are very purpose driven, so their empathy and their ability to really understand the needs of their communities and families is what makes our businesses unique and ready to scale." She wants to create a new platform that are appropriate for women.

3. CEO Carolyn Rodz emphasizes that there is a need to build a culture that capitalizes on the strength of women entrepreneurs because "...Women are incredibly collaborative. When we bring all of these resources together to push each other forward and challenge each other at a very high level there is amazing potential. Women are so special and unique in that we pull together and we do incredible things when we come together."
