Julia Law, a 26-year-old paralegal in a prominent law firm, was found dead 10am Saturday in a bathtub, face-down, but the woman's body did not show any sign of struggle or trauma, and no drugs were found at the scene.
The bathtub belonged to her 58-year-old boyfriend and boss, Charles Peruto, who was away from the scene for the night checking on construction in a new home. Police thinks she was alone wanting to take a bath in her boyfriend's condo when the strange "Final Destination"-style incident occurred.
According to ABC News, the paralegal Julia Law would have turned 27 yesterday.
Her boyfriend Charles Peruto stated on Sunday, "Julia was a beautiful, caring free spirit hippie who I was blessed to have known. Words can't express how sad I am to finally have met someone who I believed truly loved me."
An autopsy discovered that the paralegal's lungs were filled with water, but law enforcement are still waiting for toxicology test results to find out what exactly happened in the final hours of her life.
