Ever since Shia Labeouf was casted in Eagle Eye, his point of view to life has changed. NSA's spying, just revealed a few weeks ago by Edward Snowden, did not phase him at all, because he had already warned the public half a decade ago back in 2008.
The thriller Eagle Eye spoke of an artificial intelligence that does its best to govern United States and limit the bloodshed of incidents by killing off everyone in the government that is responsible for drone shootings of innocents. Shia Labeouf was the protagonist in the film, twisted and turned by the major plot of assassinations.
In preparation of the filming, the movie staff wanted him to get into the mood, and he had a conversation with an FBI consultant (Not NSA!) over the use of surveillance in our current government.
The FBI consultant spoke to Shia Labeouf about what is really happening: "I remember we had an FBI consultant on the picture telling me that they can use your ADT security box microphone to get your stuff that's going on in your house," LaBeouf told host Jay Leno in the 'Today Show'. "He told me that 1 in 5 phones calls which you make are recorded and logged and I laughed at him and then he played back a phone conversation I had two years prior to joining the picture."
Twitter supporters of Shia LeBeouf are claiming that they knew this all along.
Doug Strouth quoted on Twitter: "Maybe Shia LaBeouf Was Right About the NSA All Along."
"Really? You didn't see this NSA stuff coming? Did Eagle Eye starring Shia Labeouf and Michelle Monhagan teach us nothing?" tweeted Richard Casey.
