"The Voice" winner will be announced tonight, but Adam Levine seems to have a pretty good idea of who will take home the singing crown.
In last night's episode, Levine was confident that the top spot would go to Danielle Bradbery of Texas. After the teenage country singer's rendition of "Maybe it Was Memphis," Levine chimed in. "The crazy thing about your voice is it's just so unbelievably perfect and powerful. It's one of the better voices I think I've ever heard live... And I'm just gonna go ahead and say, I think Danielle's [the] winner of this thing," said Levine.
Shakira was also impressed. "You've grabbed the bull by the horn, no pun intended," she said. She, ironically, was wearing a cowgirl hat in tribute.
Bradbery's coach, country singer Blake Shelton, was just as enthusiastic about her performance. "As your coach, I'd like to sit here and say coach-y type things, but at the end of the day... I'm one of the millions of people out there that you have wrapped around your finger," Shelton said, "Thank God that you came to 'The Voice' to debut yourself, because you are such an important person in music and I can't say enough about you."
Shelton has much to be proud of. "The Voice" winner seems to always be from his team, as two of his protégés from the last two seasons have ended up winning the top prize.
Judging from last night's episode, all signs seem to be pointing towards Danielle Bradbery as "The Voice" winner, but one can never know, given the unpredictability of the voters. One thing is for certain, Levine is almost positive that Bradbery will be this year's winner of "The Voice."
