"Game of Thrones" season 6 has more exciting discoveries and returns in store for viewers. "GoT" star Maisie Williams has revealed that another Stark character is bound to reappear in the next installments of the series.
Yahoo reported that Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones," made the announcement on BBC radio program "The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw." Apparently, the youngest Stark, Rickon, will be back in the game.
"Yes... maybe," the 19-year-old actress replied when asked about Rickon Stark. "We will indeed... I'm literally going to get off the air and someone's going to email me [saying], 'We're going to have to kill of Arya.'"
Rickon Stark is the youngest child of Ned and Catelyn. His last appearance was in "Game of Thrones" season 3.
Back then, Rickon, portrayed by Art Parkinson, and Bran, portrayed by Isaac Hempstead Wright, had gone to Winterfell during Theon Greyjoy's takeover. They were presumed dead but are believed to just be in hiding.
According to The Independent, there are speculations that Rickon Stark will be back in the next "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode entitled "Oathbreaker." It was said that the trailer for the episode showed two representatives of the Umbers bringing a "gift" for Ramsay Bolton, which is presumed to be the youngest Stark.
The Hollywood Reporter added that fans will see the tail end of Robert's Rebellion in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode. This, along with the anticipation that viewers might learn more about Jon Snow's real parentage, will definitely make an exciting episode.
One highly-popular theory is that Jon Snow is the child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. The conflict, though, lies in whether he was conceived in love or because Rhaegar abducted Lyanna.
Moreover, Lyanna is believed to have died during childbirth after Ned Stark promised to raise Jon Snow as his own son. Kit Harington's character was recently resurrected in "Game of Thrones" season 6.
