Ozzy Osbourne has finally broken his silence, after missing for hours, following his split with long-time partner Sharon Osbourne. With so many reports circulating about the break up, the member of the famed Black Sabbath rock band is trying to end one of the rumors immediately.
"I have been sober for three and a quarter years," said Ozzy in an exclusive interview with E! News. "I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate," he added.
Last weekend, E! News confirmed the couple's break up after over three decades of being married. One reliable source said the couple agreed that Ozzy to temporarily move out of the house. Another insider tip repeated Ozzy's statement that his lack of sobriety is not the cause of the split.
Earlier, Ozzy was reported missing after he was kicked out of the house by Sharon. He has checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel but has reportedly checked out of the hotel and his whereabouts are not known according to his kids.
According to The Mirror, his three kids, Jack, Kelly and Aimee were trying to contact their dad but were not able to. Jack and his sisters are worried about their dad and are still in shock by what has happened.
Sharon is pulling the plug on their marriage since she believes that Ozzy has been cheating on her with a hairstylist much younger than her.
Her husband, the former lead singer of the Black Sabbath band has been living recently in a Southern California hotel, according to The Sun.
A source said that "Sharon went ballistic with Ozzy and accused him of having the affair" with a certain Michelle Pugh, a 45-year old hairstylist.
"[Sharon] said she had suspected something had been going on for some time and now had proof," added the source.
