When Beyonce and Jay Z stuck together after his alleged cheating, it seemed as if nothing could break up their marriage. But unfortunately, there is serious trouble brewing in their romance, if the recent news is true that the two had a major fight before the 2016 Met Gala.
A Life & Style magazine insider said "Bey and Jay had been fighting non-stop or not talking at all." They were reported to have a huge blow-up right before the celebrity ball.
It seemed there's no trouble going on between the two when Beyonce showed up in a stunning Givenchy dress without him, although that hinted that it was no accident.
"Before the Met Gala, Beyonce hissed at him that she was going alone," said the source to Life & Style. The source added that matters got so heated up that Bey uttered a statement that she was "done with their eight-year marriage."
Rather than arguing with his wife, Jay Z "slammed the door and took off," the source added. Sadly, he's not the only one who took off that night, since Bey sauntered on the Met Gala red carpet without her wedding ring.
Another report from Hollywood Life revealed that Bey and Jay Z have split several times before over the past few years. The report cited Bey's cousin Shanica Knowles.
"This has been a long process and I've heard they've had to deal with silent separations and splits over the past few years," said Shanica.
She hinted that Lemonade, her latest surprise album, was a strategic move to heal their relationship.
"Beyonce's been encouraged to write about the affair rumors to help her deal with it all and help her determine whether she could work through everything or had to end the marriage," added Shanica.
"She's been through the intense anger and I think she's now learning to forgive Jay. The next few months are going to be the test - this is now make or break for them - but Bey's determined to do everything she can to make it work," she explained.
