Playing tennis is easier said than done. Tennis is a game with much competition and success is not easily attained and owing to that, here are some of the career lessons drawn from Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer, since these tennis A-stars were able to pull off success.
Andy Murray
Andy Murray has always aimed to win every game but that is not the case. However, his fighting spirit is constantly pushing him to do more than what is expected of him. BBC reports, "Britain's Andy Murray gave himself the perfect birthday present as he won his first Italian Open title with a 6-3 6-3 victory over Novak Djokovic and it was a first win on clay against Djokovic in five attempts for the Scot, who turned 29 on Sunday."
He broke serve once in the first set and twice in the second in Rome to win in one hour and 35 minutes and he broke the world number one early in the first set, leaving Djokovic, reports the same post. In terms of Andy Murray's life, playing tennis was his passion and the conviction to never give up.
Novak Djokovic
Djokovic might have been in the game at some point and might have been frustrated but it did not prevent him from facing the hurdles and win the game. Consistency and discipline are among the career lessons that can be drawn from his life as a tennis player.
Rafael Nadal
As for Nadal, confidence in his skills and talents are among the means that he was able to gain success in his endeavor. Just like in the workplace, confidence is important to get things done. In a post from Yibada, "Rafael Nadal is still brimming with confidence heading into the 2016 French Open, despite losing to Novak Djokovic for the seventh straight time in the quarterfinal of Rome Masters and the Spaniard thinks his latest loss to the world's no.1 has given him more reasons to believe that he has closed the gap between him and Djokovic just in time for Roland Garros."
These tennis A-stars might be different in their ways and game time but Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal were able to pull off and gain success owing to their work ethics and discipline.
