The DA in Aaron Hernandez's case claimed that his girlfriend and possible fiance Shayanna Jenkins was a key part to how the case against Aaron Hernandez was put together.
Shayanna Jenkins had aided the prosecutors in preparing the case the day of the trial, according to LA Late. Shayanna had spoken with the prosecutors after murder also. She seemed initially very cooperative. But after finding out that Aaron was involved in the case, she had become less cooperative, LA Late reported.
The prosecution had gathered evidence of Aaron Hernandez's involvement in the case. They had utilized geolocation on his cellphone with numerous security camera footages to pin him to the case. The murder happened on June 17, the 23-year-old Hernandez was accused of shooting the victim Odin Lloyd 5 times, with the final 2 shots 'execution style'.
Aaron Hernandez has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a large firearm, 1 count of carrying a gun without a license, and 2 counts of firearm possession.
Shayanna, whose sister was allegedly dating Odin Lloyd, received Aaron's attempt to blow her a kiss in the court room. Odin Lloyd was a 27-year-old former semi-pro football player. Prosecutors claim that he was murdered due to having a previous conversation with the wrong people.
