It was a big win for the Oklahoma Thunder as it won the first game against the Golden State Warriors. The game that has brought forth much excitement has ended with dismay and confidence for the two teams.
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will still face off with each other in the coming days. Their career ethics is now fully displayed to the world. Both Curry and Durant are dedicated warriors in their own way. Both are decisive and strong but often times, there are moments wherein things do not go their way but both have shown resilience in their career as pro basketball players.
The NBA is a competitive industry. It is not always a winning moment for each team. In February, when the Oklahoma City Thunder hopelessly trailed San Antonio and Golden State in the Western Conference standings, general manager Sam Presti expressed faith that coach Billy Donovan and his players could unearth a different sort of team before it was too late, according to a former post from ESPN.
To prove the latter, the Thunder have found something since a humiliating Game 1 loss against San Antonio in the second round, and it looks more dangerous with each monstrous road win and although the Oklahoma City is a huge, physical team that understands it can wear opponents down if it stays focused over 48 minutes, reports the same post.
It appears that Durant and his team has been fully aware of his or her hidden strength and they could utilize it to make way for the win and be in tune with each member of the team. The first game showed that the Thunder never stops fighting and even though star player Stephen Curry is present, the win favored the Thunders.
On a different note, even though the Warriors were stunned by the win as reported by CTV, it is indispensable that Stephen Curry and his team will give their all for the second game.
It is irrefutable that Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are strong and solid players with a vision in mind. Nevertheless the first game strengthened both players resolve to stay focus and remain resilient despite the hurdles and challenges that blocked their path.
