Google is once again preparing to take over the latest trends. It appears that Google aims on creating a new platform called Google Home and it will content with Amazon Echo. Also, the move would bring about new notions on which platform is the best bet for consumers.
The Verge reported, Though it'll be demonstrated tomorrow, Google Home won't ship until this fall and the early demonstration is somewhat unusual for Google, but there's good reason it may want to unveil it at I/O because announcing Google Home now would let third party developers begin building out integrations with it, which could then be ready at launch."
Amazon's Alexa assistant is well known for the huge number of integrations it has, but it's taken well over a year for those to come together into a coherent whole and by starting early, Google could have a more compelling product at launch, reports the same post.
If Google is successful in this venture, it would set a trend and the competition would be fiercer for Amazon Echo once Google Home is out in the market. If the platform can support the third-party integrations, it might shift the market in more ways than one.
Moreover, The New York Times added that as Google unveil its segment, the directives would change for all sector and it's not stated exactly what form the device will tak, and a speaker is one of the reasonable guess, but it's only ever referred to as a "voice-activated home device" and would incorporate the similar function as the Echo.
It remains unsettled on what the outcomes would be once Google is finished in creating the Google Home that aims to outshine and outperform Amazon Echo in the market and even on which platform is the better bet remains uncertain as well.
