NASCAR News: Pro Matt Kenseth Wins International Speedway: Career As Winner Unquestionable

It's been a close call this season but NASCAR Pro Matt Kenseth finally won last Sunday - this is his first winning race in 2016.

Making a career out of professional racing can be enjoyable but also quite hectic. But in NASCAR news, this season was a time when Matt Kenseth could have just blamed himself and everybody for not getting the victory he deserves. Until he actually won. He and his racing team were simply too talented and their cars too fast to not eventually win.

Recalling the events, Kenseth said: "I feel like the way we've been running, eventually law of averages are going to work out, you're going to get your wins, your finishes." Did he ever doubt that himself? "It's going to happen sooner or later," he said.

Compared to the rest of the competition, Kenseth didn't have the best car according to NASCAR news but SB Nation has it that other people's misfortune were on his lucky side. Drivers like Harvick may have had the fastest cars but he kept losing spots which cost him track positions. According to Yahoo, Matt Kenseth withstood a fury of charges from Kyle Larson over the last 35 laps.

It was as if the road was clearing everything for Kenseth. "It was one of those days where everything lined up for us at the end of the race," Kenseth said. "... It all worked out for us, kind of the opposite as I feel like it's been going the last couple months."

His parting words are probably the best advice anyone struggling to make it in their career should listen to: "You can never take it for granted," Kenseth explains. "I still got to go out and do the work every week and make it happen."

You may just rise on top like he did Sunday at Dover.
