The recent release of "Fallout 4: Far Harbor" DLC packs failed the PS4 gamers when it did not function well. Also, the malfunctioned features are placing the game's legacy on the rocks, owing to the gamers' complaints. Also, many are speculating that Bethesda should focus on "Elder Scrolls 6" instead.
Out of the three "Fallout 4" DLC packs that Bethesda had announced a few months ago, it was the Far Harbor expansion that had caught the attention of most fans and since the game was touted as the largest expansion planned for "Fallout 4," would-be players were so eager to play the Far Harbor DLC that upon its release, reports GameRant.
One gamer diligently proved that the map is so big that it will take 30 minutes to walk across, but while this one user could do it in 30 minutes, several PS4 players would be lucky to get through a quarter of the map in the same amount of time, according to the same report.
It stands to reason that the main culprit for this dip in performance for PS4 players is the game's radioactive fog, and this same feature is only unique to Far Harbor expansion. While the much-acclaimed fog is a key aesthetic feature as well as the focal point for the Far Harbor's features, the mere removal of the feature is not enough to resolve the noted performance-based issues.
Since "Fallout 4" DLC and the Far Harbor DLC is now ready to played on platforms such as PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Bethesda must implement radical measures to resolve the loophole. On a different note, since Bethesda has delayed the release of "Elder Scrolls 6," as noted by Jobs & Hire, many are insinuating that Bethesda must resolve all the underlying shortcomings before the legacy of the game developers go down the drain.
It is undeniable that "Fallout 4: Far Harbor" DLC packs did not bode well and unless Bethesda implement urgent fixes, the overall gaming performance might be threatened and the legacy of developers might be questioned as well.
