An older version of Lyanna Stark may finally make an appearance in the "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale. The mysterious character first appeared earlier this season.
Pop Sugar reported that Bran's vision in "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 2 showed a scene from Ned Stark's childhood at Winterfell. A young Lyanna Stark, portrayed by Cordelia Hill, was also there.
Bran used his greensight to see his father, Ned, along with his siblings Brandon, Benjen and Lyanna. The publication noted that "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 2 was the most information that the show has revealed about Jon Snow's rumored mother.
Lyanna Stark was promised to Robert Baratheon but was kidnapped by Daenerys' older brother, Rhaegar Targaryen. In "Game of Thrones" season 5, Sansa revealed that Lyanna was raped by Rhaegar, further sparking speculations that Jon Snow was their child.
Meanwhile, Lyanna Stark may make an appearance in the "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale. One fan took to Twitter to reveal that the character will be shown in the upcoming episode.
"Apparently this is the Lyanna Stark actress," Twitter user Rosh wrote, along with a picture of the presumed actress. "She will appear next episode."
Older Lyanna Stark is said to be portrayed Ozge Gurel. She is a Turkish actress who starred in the "Season of Cherry" TV series and 2014 film "Our Hodja."
There is still no official announcement on whether Ozge Gurel will play the character and whether Lyanna will appear in the "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale. Hopefully, more light would be shed on Jon Snow's parentage and what truly happened when Ned Stark found her in the Tower of Joy.
Meanwhile, according to TIME, HBO has released six promotional photos on Wednesday. The "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale will feature a discussion between Jaime and Walder Frey as well as a showdown between Davos and Melisandre.
The "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale is also believed to be an explosive ending to the season with Cersei taking down King's Landing with wildfire. "The Winds of Winter" will be aired on Jun. 26.
