"The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7" is coming back with Teresa Giudice but first things first, she wants to talk about her time in prison.
The reality star Teresa Giudice returns home on Sunday's seventh season for the reality hit TV series "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." Before the premiere, she has served one year in federal prison for financial fraudulence. At the same time, she has allowed the cameras to document everything that is going on with her life and family during that rough patch.
"It felt like 'what is going on?' I'm hearing my lawyer on a walkie-talkie. I had the paparazzi driving up on the side," Giudice recalls. According to CNN, she felt like she was in a movie and she was a different person.
The wife of Joe Giudice explained that the past season was hard for her and she just wants the world to know that she is a normal person too and goes through hardships. "We all have to. No one has a perfect life. There's always a light at the end," she says.
After she did her time, she was relieved to go back home but she also missed the friends she made when she was in prison. "A few girls and I did become really close. They are there for you during a difficult time in your life. I was sad I left them behind," Giudice said.
Now, it is her husband's turn to be incarcerated. Joe Giudice is serving a 41 month federal sentence for fraud, too. She makes sure to see him at least once a week and exchanges emails everyday. "I'm coping the best I can. Listen, I love my husband." Giudice continued, "Unless you walk this path, unless you know all the pieces to the puzzle, no one can judge. He's an amazing man. He didn't mean for any of this to happen."
New season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" starts this Sunday.
