The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 has reached the landmark 1000 horsepower generation. The newest sports car will go up against its fellows in Europe in the GM standard quality control program before the will go on sale.
Technical experts will be test-driving 2 models of the fuel-efficient vehicle to measure its quality performance, especially on European roads such as Germany, France, Switzerland, and Netherlands.
Patrick Hermann, the technical manager at Chevrolet Europe, expressed his excitement in being a test driver for the amazing vehicle, "Corvette is one of the famed names in automotive history and the new Stingray is the most advanced and capable standard model yet… Driving and testing this car is definitely one of the most interesting aspects of my job."
The European models of the new Stingray C7 2014 will be equipped with the Z51 package, featuring sizable wheels and brakes and sport-tuned steering and suspension. Magnetic ride control suspension and performance traction management and exhaust systems are also a part of the Z51 package.
A coilover suspension system that utilizes Penske double-adjustable shocks and a Brembo brake upgrade with carbon-ceramic rotors can also be added into the vehicle as an optional enhancement.
The Ferrari and Porche competitor will be sold at the price of 70,000 Euros, or roughly $90,000 USD, according to Daily News.
