Bethesda Softworks promises that "Dishonored 2" will be better than the original game, with the new features and the characters that players can choose from.
Previously, the game developer confirmed that it will be releasing two titles this year -"Skyrim" and "Dishonored 2," which is why fans are looking forward to the release of the latter game as this is considered as the best franchise that Bethesda ever had. The recent updates about the game even heightened their excitements.
Accordingly, the game will be traveling back to the past approximately 15 years earlier, where fans could see the young Emily Kaldwin who happened to be the Empress, but chose to be an assassin treading the same path as her father, Corvo Attano.
Aside from time traveling, Bethesda added new features such as voice acting and an option for fans to play as Emily or Corvo, although players can only play one character at a time and they cannot switch characters until the game is finished, Mobile & Apps reported. Nevertheless, the game is programmed to have players choose between Emily or Corvo for them to experience both characters.
In the recently released trailer for "Dishonored 2," creative and new ways on how to use the special and supernatural abilities of the two characters to kill enemies are revealed. Players should take note that Corvo's supernatural abilities are greatly changed since it is transformed into combat-centered from stealth one, while Emily shows off additional and new abilities. Game developers designed the characters to have multiple powers to see how players strategize and maximize the use of each power for their advantage.
Additionally, it was also revealed that one way of neutralizing the enemy's power is by using the special abilities of each character jointly. Another one is that the option of the players to play stealthily, and not just to kill in random like in the game's predecessor.
"Dishonored 2" will be available in PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 11, 2016.
