The 21-year-old singer-actress Bae Su-ji, or simply known as Suzy of Miss A, confessed she didn't use to be a nice person before she became a celebrity. In her recent pictorial for CeCi magazine's October issue, Suzy shared how the limelight helped her become a nice person.
"Before I became a celebrity, I don't think I was that nice and kind," Suzy told CeCi, as cited by The Kpop Herald. However, being exposed to a craft that requires a lot of patience and stamina, she gradually realized the importance of being nice and kind while working. "I think being kind is not necessarily natural, but it is basic," she added.
Although the "Dream High" actress wasn't forced to be polite and pleasant, Suzy emphasized that exuding good vibes creates a harmonious relationship with everyone on the set. Her constant attempts to be cheerful and bubbly eventually helped her become a nicer person without realizing it.
"Being kind is not something that you can just be because you were told to," Suzy added. But this kindness doesn't end on the set, as Suzy told in her interview with CeCi that she also developed further closeness with her family. She also pointed out that being honest and straightforward can fortify relationships.
Meanwhile, Suzy's positive attitude also helped her remain composed in dealing with issues. When asked about the dating rumors of her Hallyu star actor-boyfriend Lee Min Ho and American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, Suzy just laughed it off. The "Bounty Hunters" actor's agency has also dismissed the speculations.
Lee is currently filming in Spain while Suzy is currently enjoying her break after her TV show ended. The two met due to the former's persistence and have been dating for more than a year now.
