Microsoft has yet to make any official statement regarding the highly anticipated Surface Phone but rumors about its specs, features as well as its launch date. Perhaps all these speculations started when an image of an alleged Microsoft mobile device appeared on an official Twitter account of Microsoft Australia recently. According to Yibada, it may possibly be unintentional when the said image surfaced on the said social media site, but it could also be an indication that Surface Phone could be introduced by the Redmond-based tech giant in the coming weeks.
In relation to the rumored specs and features of Microsoft Surface Phone, some say it will be packed with distinctive fingerprint sensor and Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor. Also another speculation said that the smartphone will be released in three different classifications such as consumer model or base model, enthusiasts model and business edition.
In addition to the rumors of the Surface Phone having Surface pen and removable keyboard, enthusiasts stated that those wo will take advantage of the business edition of Surface Phone will surely appreciate the smartphone even better. Also Surface Phone may be using Windows 10 Redstone 2 which will enhance its performance which can be compared to the functions of a PC added by Learn Bonds. It is also said that the Surface Phone could have a 20 MegaPixel main clicker using a Carl Zeiss lens.
When it comes to the expected launch date, analysts forecasted that Microsoft could possibly introduce Surface Phone in the early part of 2017 but as of the moment nothing is certain about it. Also the price of the Surface Phone may go around $699 up to $1100 depending on the variant.
Currently after the controversial image of the alleged Microsoft Surface Phone, there have not been any more possible hints added. Analysts and enthusiasts strongly believe that the image which recently floated is enough proof that Surface Phone is on its way to the market.
