High profile celebrity Kim Kardashian-West fled France and went back to their abode in New York after being tied up and robbed at gunpoint inside her private apartment in Paris Sunday night.
In a statement disclosed by CNN, according to West's spokesperson Ina Treciokas, "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers."
The robbers disguised heinously ransacked West's private apartment in French capital, taking valuable belongings, including jewelries and phones, amounting to almost $11M. The 35-year-old actress-model reported she "feared of being raped" and "begged for her life" after being dragged from bed with gun pointed at her and tied using duct tape. The hooligans locked her up in the bathroom while looting valuables and even the diamond ring gift from husband Kanye West wasn't spared.
Based on sources, West narrated to the police that the armed robbers spoke broken English asking for the 15-carat diamond gift saying, "Ring, ring ring!"
A close friend to West, stylist Simone Harouche, was sleeping downstairs and immediately called Kim's long time bodyguard Pascal Duvier after hearing suspicious noise in the former's room. Unfortunately, Duvier was preoccupied guarding West's siblings Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at a Paris club.
Robbers left the actress unharmed but "badly shaken." She immediately went back to New York after the incident to be reunited with her husband and kids. Her children, North and Saint, fortunately weren't in the scene when the heist took place.
Investigations have already been started to immediately catch the culprit. Security measures of the private apartment are also being questioned by some netizens according to reports.
Meanwhile, the Kardashians and even Caitlyn Jenner expressed her well-wishes towards the shaken actress.
