After disappointing the fans for his 2016 Safeway Open withdrawal dropping out on the eleventh hour, Tiger Woods is back featuring a different aspect of his life. On what he calls his evolution off the course, Woods is unveiling the entrepreneurial side of him.
Yahoo Sports reported that Tiger Woods proudly introduced TGR, a name he is now using to rebrand his businesses and charity ventures. He will be serving as a chairman of this company as he wants to be hands-on and closely involved on its day to day development and progress.
Along with the unveiling of his new company, Woods also revealed his new logo. It looks like tiger stripes out of the three triangles resembling the form of letter W for Woods.
Woods is very enthusiastic talking about the company. He said that he is very excited about the potential of TGR and that he wants to explore more about the potentials of product development, design, hospitality and entertainment.
TGR will be an umbrella for all of Tiger Woods' businesses. It is set to oversee the Tiger Woods Foundation, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, TGR Design, a golf course he established in 2006, TGR Live, an events company he owns responsible for organizing the PGA TOUR and the most recent The Woods Restaurant which he opened just last year.
There is also a possibility that Tiger Woods will consider making golf gear as Nike, the brand Woods used throughout his career will no longer be making golf equipment such as clubs. Jeff Kempler, Sub Rosa COO believes in the possibility of TGR entering the equipment business.
TGR, before it was established went through a thorough study and analysis so as to be clear where it is going. Emily Taylor,Tiger Woods Foundation VP said that they came up with the idea of Woods qualities such as determination, precision and the ability to master a wide array of skills, and that is how TGR is going to be, The Fast Company reported.
