Moving on from all her recent love life hullabaloos, American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift dazzled the crowd during her only concert this year at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix on Saturday, October 22.
Surely, many missed the emotional and charismatic performance of the 26-year-old singer as approximately 80,000 "Swifties" were present at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. According to The Rollingstone, attendees came from different parts of the United States, mostly from far Eastern or Pacific states. But one notable "Swiftie" even traveled an estimate of 1,270 miles just to witness the 26-year-old singer perform live ecstatically.
Wearing her shining and shimmering black romper, all eyes were on Swift especially when she warmed up the night with her own version of the controversial Calvin Harris hit, "This Is What You Came For".
Swift played the piano and soulfully sang her ex-lover's single from earlier this year. The song became created rampage over different news outlets when Swift revealed she wrote parts of the hit single after initially keeping it a secret.
As reported by Billboard, the Pennsylvania-born singer even asked the fans to sing along with her. "I've never played this song live, but if you know it, maybe you could sing along so I know what that feels like with this song," requested Swift.
"As a songwriter, the most rewarding feeling in the world is writing something and then having the crowd sing it back to you 'cause they know the words," Swift added.
The 15-song set mostly comprised of her famous songs from albums "Red" and "1989". However, since Swift is celebrating her 10th year playing anniversary in Texas, she also seamlessly threw back songs from her "Fearless" tracks including "You Belong with Me" and "Fifteen".
If you've been to any of Swift's concert, then you would know that her vocal prowess, especially during live performances, is as stunning as her mostly shining shimmering outfit. Another highlight of the night was her dance-pop rendition of "Love Story" and some "Wildest Dreams."
Now moving on with her "New Romantics," proved her charisma is still on point despite all her recent list of "ex-lovers".
Swift capped the night with some fireworks to the tune of "Shake It Off".
And while some fans are intrigued if she's going to fill the "Blank Space" soon, more than an hour after her final song, Swift re-appeared before the crowd, thanked and bid farewell to one of her largest audience to date-assured them she's back on track.
