It seems like Khaleesi and her handmaiden Missandei, are allies not only on the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" but in real life as well. Emilia Clarke who portrays the strong character of Khaleesi and Nathalie Emmanuel as the trusted handmaiden both expressed dismay over recently leaked paparazzi-taken photos of GoT Season 7 set.
As posted by Huffington Post, the leaked image of the set suggests the long-awaited encounter of Khaleesi and the much-adored character of Jon Snow repped by English actor Kit Harrington.
Emmanuel tweeted on her official account @missemmanuel last Friday, "It's really disappointing there are people who are determined to ruin Season 7 for everyone...#spoilsports"
Such spoilers pre-empt all the vital episodes currently being filmed in different parts of Europe. However, due to most fans eagerness to acquire updates, some paparazzi just can't let the staff and crew work in peace.
"I'm simply saying I don't see why we can't focus on making a great season for the fans in peace... it's a shame. #notangryjustdisappointed," Emmanuel added.
And as if to add insult to injury, a video version of the viral photo has been uploaded on YouTube with more than 120K views currently. Probably from the same paparazzi who leaked the image.
Meanwhile, Clarke also conveyed her disappointment through her Instagram account @emilia_clarke.
The 30-year-old actress uploaded a photo with Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants captioned, "Please note: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS. And show runners. And a brand new thirty year old. And Jon Snow's mum."
Clarke recently celebrated her birthday while on GoT set but her excitement and delight have been ceased due to spoilers.
The long wait for Season 7, which is set to air next year makes all GoT viewers dreadful and any update on their favorite series is treated with high importance and forwarded to everyone in an instant. However, the casts and crew of the multi-awarded series request fans, especially paparazzi, to refrain from posting photos of the ongoing shoot.
Game of Thrones is based on the bestselling series of novels by George R.R. Martin called "A Song of Ice and Fire".
