Kate Beckinsale and husband Len Wiseman officially called it quits. ‘Total Recall’ director filed a divorce with wife, Kate Beckinsale, after months of separation.
Len Wiseman submitted the divorce documents on Friday, the reason for the break up cited as irreconcilable differences. The Telegraph reported that pair has been detaching since last 2015 and E! News made the first headline in November 2015.
The Sun reported possible hurdle in marriage during an interview with Glamour magazine in 2012.She said: “There’s absolutely part of me that goes, ‘I’d love to have a baby in the relationship I’m in, and have that experience when the relationship’s really good and exclusive,’ but I’m just not sure.”
The two are said to waive spousal support from each other; TMZ suggested a prenup. The couple tried to make it work though still broke apart, old habits and fighting were the said reasons. The long period of grueling filming made it harder for them to reconcile.
Since then Wiseman has been seen with 25-year-old model CJ Franco, Beckinsale has been filming 'Underworld 5' in Prague this time. While the no-wedding-ring husband has been around, David Walliams is linked to the English star. People added, “Kate is not dating and only focused on her daughter and work.”
Underworld series-Underworld: Blood Wars, the fifth installment of the film Beckinsale starts and her estranged husband co-write and co-produce. The film will be out this February.
Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman originally met during the ‘Underworld’ filming back in 2003. They fell with each other and got engaged at Hotel Bel-Air, then they got married a year after. They have no children together since marriage though Beckinsale had a daughter with former husband, Michael Sheen.
Lily, Beckinsale’s 17-year old daughter, is the only concern of Wiseman at the moment, shared a source. He had been the girls' second father for many years.
