The drama continues with the heartbreaking Brangelina split as 52-year-old actor Brad Pitt faces further investigation for alleged child abuse.
As disclosed by a source to Huffington Post, the ongoing probe to Pitt's alleged child abuse with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie has just expanded to all children.
Many were devastated when actress-producer Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in September from husband and fellow actor-producer Pitt. Jolie mentioned alcohol, anger management, and substance abuse as some of the reason for filing. With this, the actress also emphasized Pitt's tendency to be violent even in front of their six loving children-Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax Thien, Knox, and Vivienne.
Prior investigation of the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family only focused on a specified incident where Pitt was reported to commit "verbal abuse and physical" with his 15-year-old son Maddox Chivan while aboard their private plane.
This specific probe was expected to end by October but the department told In Touch that it will go on for a while.
"The DCFS investigation is now going to continue for at least several more weeks," the source explained.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that DCFS will further investigate other reported incident including Pitt's anger management and verbal and physical abuse towards his wife even when the kids are present.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reportedly reached out to the 41-year-old for a comprehensive account of her husband's alleged misconduct.
The couple has been together since 2004 but only got married in 2014.
Many were devastated after hearing the divorce news. Pitt was also rumored to have an affair with "Allied" co-star Marion Cotillard. Both parties have already denied the issue. Jolie is also seeking for custody for all their children but will allow Pitt to have visitation rights according to reports.
