Have you bought yourself a new iPhone yet? Why till you hear this! Apple to launch next year iPhone 8, not one version but three.
The three iPhone models will have a 4.7-, 5-, and 5.5-inch touchscreens, the release of the flagships will coincide with the company's device 10th year anniversary.
Apple's new smartphone will have other futuristic features such as a curved display using advanced organic light-emitting diode panels, and low-temperature polysilicon panels.
This is not the first rumor of the 8th model of iPhone since the launch of iPhone7 and iPhone7s editions last year. This latest iPhone 8 is reported to have a glass back, though the other two will remain with the current aluminum build.
However, Tech Times confirmed it otherwise that Apple, three different screen sizes, will get a glass-back indeed. Nikkei Asian Review added, China's Biel Crystal Manufactory and Lens Technology will supply the glass back.
On the same Japanese publication, "Apple has tentatively decided that all the 5.5-inch, 5-inch and 4.7-inch models will have glass backs, departing from metal casings adopted by current iPhones, and Biel and Lens are likely to be providing all the glass backs for the new iPhones next year," a source includes.
USAToday reported that Apple's fourth-quarter phone shipments of 45.5 million, down 5% from the 48 million shipped a year ago. Unveiling the new range promise potential increase in sales, it will drive iPhone fans with a new look after criticism from previous launches. Critics often discuss how the edgy smartphone lacks innovative features and its similarity to prior items.
Next year prove to be an exciting year for all iPhone fans, the design, features, and specs of this newest Apple flagship are yet to be seen. It's too early to expect, but we surely will not be disappointed.
