The season just started, but there are still rumors circling the league that would make NBA fans get really hyped. Big names like Golden State's Klay Thompson, Chicago's Jimmy Butler and Boston's Avery Bradley and Jaylen Brown, could be part of this season's NBA blockbuster trade rumors.
Trades are always a big thing in the NBA because you can see teams trying to strengthen their respective rosters to win a championship. During the off season, big trades like Kevin Durant going to the Warriors, Dwyane Wade going to the Bulls and Derrick Rose going the Knicks have been the talk of the town. But it doesn't stop there because a lot teams are still trying to mix things up as the season progresses.
According to the Inquisitr, the latest NBA blockbuster trade rumors would involve three teams in a three-way deal. Klay Thompson would go to the Boston Celtics; Jimmy Butler would go to the Golden State Warriors, and the Chicago Bulls would get Klay Thompson. If the deal would push through, there is no problem regarding salary cap because this deal would meet the standards of NBA trade rules as confirmed by ESPN trade machine.
Klay Thompson was part of the Golden State squad back in 2015 where they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in 6 games in a best of 7 series. Thompson plays a vital part in the team as a 3-point specialist, but now that they acquired Kevin Durant in the offseason, Thompson could be the odd man out according to Yibada. With the Warriors having too much offensive-minded player in their team, it seems logical to let Thompson go and get a defensive specialist instead, and Jimmy Butler fits the position quite perfectly.
The Celtics would also benefit from the deal as they are in need of a 3-point specialist being ranked 29th in 3-point shooting in the 2015-2016 season. The Bulls would also have younger players in their team, Avery Bradley(25) and Jaylen Brown (20).
It is still safe to say that these NBA blockbuster trade rumors would happen, but if ever it does, the NBA is really worth watching.
