Korean TV heart rob and "Legend of the Blue Sea" star Lee Min Ho is not letting his name be dragged down in malicious rumors swirling around recently.
MYM Entertainment which is Lee Min Ho's agency has just filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station against online trolls for spreading false, malicious rumors about their talent.
MYM Entertainment wrote in their statement that Lee Min Ho has been greatly affected by these malicious rumors. He is said to have been emotionally and mentally stressed over these matters and that they will no longer take it lightly. "Posting malicious comments while hiding behind anonymity is an apparent crime," they added in their statement.
Furthermore, the agency is said to have compiled evidence throughout the years that they can use to sue these online trolls. News about Korean artists filing a lawsuit against false malicious rumors about them online is not a new thing. Just recently, "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo has filed a lawsuit against fabricated stories about them.
While the two has neither denied nor confirmed the real status of their relationship, the rumors about them seems to intensify even more. Punishment is already awaiting those who are convicted of cyberbullying and defamation in South Korea.
Earlier this year, MYM Entertainment had also filed a lawsuit of the same kind for Lee Min Ho. This was due to the fact that several rumors about Lee Min Ho and his K-Pop superstar girlfriend Suzy Bae has surfaced.
Even Suzy Bae's agency, JYP Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against 38 netizens last April for spreading malicious content against her. Despite the lawsuit and online bullying, Lee Min Ho seems to be busy with his new Korean TV drama, "Legend of the Blue Sea" which is slated to air on November 16.
