Xiaomi, a Chinese company, unveils their Mi MIX phone, which allegedly features the design of the future. This high-end smartphone is bezel-less, has glossy, full ceramic body and buttons, has no earpiece or proximity sensor, letting it have a super neat look. Xiaomi's Mi MIX is aesthetically appealing, and has a competitive performance. Rumors say that Apple will be releasing their iPhone8 inspired from Mi MIX's design.
According to highsnobiety, due to Mi MIX's bezel-less smartphone innovation, it has a striking screen-to-body ratio of 91.3 percent. The phone was designed by Philippe Starck, and features IPS LCD edgeless display with 2040 x 1080 FHD resolution and 362 PPI pixel density. Customer will be amazed with Mi MIX's almost all-screen design, with its 1300:1 contrast ratio.
Aside from Xiaomi's Mi MIX stunning design, its performance is notable as well. With its ceramic body, it contains quad-core Snapdragon 821 at 2.35 GHz partnered with Adreno 530 graphics. It has a 16MP camera with a dual-LED flash and a f/2.0 aperture. The phone records video in 4K/1080p/720p at 30 fps, and offers slow-motion at 120 fps. While, its front-facing 5 MP camera captures 1080p video.
Mi MIX has a massive battery performance, too. One cannot disregard its 4,400mAh battery that comes with a Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Smartphone enthusiasts are waiting for Mi MIX's limited edition, which has a memory up to 6 GB RAM/256 GB storage (UFS 2.0 to boot). The limited units have 18K gold-plated rings around the camera and fingerprint reader.
Based on itechpost, Xiaomi Mi MIX hasn't lined up for US release just yet. However, it will be available in China on November 4. Standard units are priced at around $510 USD, while the limited edition can be bought at around $590 USD. Not bad for its unbelievable design and striking performance!
