Michael Fassbender says no to James Bond, report claims.

The actor was said to be a favorite to take over from the current James Bond, Daniel Craig. Fassbander explained that the franchise needs a younger actor or a woman to play the role.

He said that he grew up loving the franchise and was a big fan of the show. He stressed that Craig has done a phenomenal job as James Bond but he thinks the franchise needs something new, BBC News reported.

He even suggested some stories for the next Bond film. He believes that it would be nice to film in Sandhurts Army or in the Middle East.

He also suggested an American actor to play James Bond or a woman version of the famous MI6 agent. He said that one things for sure though the next Bond would be someone unexpected but fits the job.

He thinks that it will be nice for the character to be court-martialed. He also added that it would be nice to have younger actor like Money Monster star Jack O' Connell to play the character.

There has been a few actors tapped to play the agent like Tom Hiddleston and Idris Alba. One of the young contenders rumored for the film is Divergent Star Theo James, a previous report claim.

There was once false rumor that James got the part, which made fans of James Bond and Theo James believe that the actor was next in line for the role. The site that reported the news then explained that all stories on the site were satire, the opinion expressed does not belong to any people.

Currently, Fassbender can be seen on-screen alongside his girlfriend Alicia Vikander on The Light Between Oceans. He explained that their relationship did not influence the film in any way, Telegraph reported.

He added that Derek Cianfrance, director of the film, created an environment where actors can be the best themselves. This environment allowed them to act the best way they can. As of to date, there's still no official news on who the next James Bond would be.
