Amazon launched a Black Friday Deal Store to kick-start its Black Friday Sales. As part of its Black Friday deals, Amazon is offering price cuts on selected Kindle E-reader products. Included in Amazon's holiday deals are the Kindle Paperwhite (2016), the Kindle Voyage, the All-New Kindle, and the Kindle for Kids Bundle.
Set a day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday is unofficially or officially the start of the holiday shopping season. Although Black Friday 2016 is still a few days away, shoppers can already take advantage of Amazon's annual holiday offers. According to Techradar, the price of the Kindle Paperwhite is slashed down by $20 and is now on sale for $99.99. The price of the Kindle Voyage is down to $179.99 following a 10 percent cut off its $199.99 original price. The All-New Kindle is now down to $59.99 from $79.99. The Kindle for Kids Bundle is up for grabs for $79.99, down from $124.98. However, there is no news from Amazon as to whether the Kindle Oasis will be included in the price drop.
The Kindle Paperwhite E-reader comes in black and has a 6-inch high-resolution display with built-in light. The Kindle Voyage has a 6-inch high-resolution display with built-in adaptive light and PagePress sensors. The All-New Kindle has a 6-inch glare-free touchscreen display and is available in black. The Kindle for Kids Bundle includes the latest Kindle without sponsored screensavers, a free cover, and a 2-year worry-free guarantee. All the featured Kindle devices are Wi-Fi capable.
In a statement, Doug Herrington, senior vice president of North American Retail at Amazon said, "This holiday season, we're offering more deals than ever before and-for the first time ever-giving Prime members an opportunity to use Alexa voice shopping for purchasing their holiday gifts hands-free."
Amazon has not announced whether the same price reduction will be offered to consumers in the United Kingdom or Australia. Black Friday Amazon's Black Friday shop will run through Dec. 22, 2016.
