The LAPD confirmed on the same day that it was indeed Jamie Lee Curtis who was inside the limousine but that she was not badly hurt. Authorities also confirmed to the media that no case was filed by Curtis and that there were no casualties.
Another injured individual was rushed to the hospital after the accident but the identity of the person was not revealed. TMZ reports that the other person rushed to the nearest hospital had more serious injuries than Curtis.
E! News reported Thursday evening that Jamie Lee Curtis called her actress-friend Jodie Foster for help while still at the back of the limousine. Photos of the scene where Jodie Foster was spotted started making the rounds Friday. Foster's representatives did not comment about the photos but it's been confirmed by Huffpost that Foster rushed to her friend's side almost immediately after the crash.
Jodie Foster starred in "Freaky Friday" while her friend Curtis starred in its 2003 remake.
Jamie Lee Curtis' representative told the media that Curtis has been given an all-clear by the doctors and that she is now home getting some rest. E! News reports that the actress is "fine".
Curtis first appeared in the film "Halloween" in 1978 where she played Laurie Strode. She starred in "The Fog", another horror film, two years later but it was only in 1983 when she won the BAFTA awards for best supporting actress in the movie "Trading Places" that the then starlet was finally able to breakaway from her horror roles.
Curtis is currently working on her next project "Veronica Mars".
