Directors Anthony and Joe Russo officially confirmed that the upcoming "Captain America 4" movie series will no longer be played by Chris Evans. Steve Rogers is going to be portrayed by a different actor in future solo film sequels.
Creators have originally cued Steve Rover's future exit after a fight scene with Iron Man in "Captain America: Civil War". Fortunately, fans would not see the last of Chris Evans' performance as the patriotic super soldier until after "Avengers: Infinity War".
It is revealed that the Captain America directors ultimately regretted spinning a rivalry with Iron Man. According to a substantiated report by University Herald, the creators are creating a more complex twist to Steve Roger's character development following the end of "Captain America: Civil War". There is a strong speculation that Steve Rogers will take on the identity of The Nomad - a disillusioned mercenary who severed ties with his country.
An alternative possibility is also presented by Council & Heal. According to them, the "Captain America" moniker will be succeeded two of Steve Rogers' closest friends. Fans may find the continuity of the principal character either in the form of the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) or the Falcon (Sam Wilson). There is even a remote possibility that the future "Captain America" will be depicted as a female protagonist.
Chris Evans' exodus from the "Captain America" series may also possibly herald the end of Steve Rogers' existence in future eponymous titles. Curiously, "Captain America" was not the only Marvel character played by Chris Evans. He also once portrayed The Human Torch in two movie adaptations of "Fantastic 4".
Evans is looking forward to expanding his horizons as an actor in the midst of metaphorically 'dropping his shield'. The upcoming drama titled "Gifted" casts him as a single father raising a child prodigy while plagued by the struggles of fighting for her custody.
