42-year-old Bravo reality star Bethenny Frankel said in an interview that she doesn't feel sorry for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband after a case of fraud was hurled at the Giudice couple.
Teresa and Joe Giudice recently posted a million dollar bond and later went to the Hamptons to spend some quality time with their two youngest daughters.
"Do I feel sorry for them? No, I don't," Frankel said in an interview. "Not so much, because it broke the law. You broke the law and you went on television. That's not really that smart," Frankel added.
While Frankel did not mince words when asked about Teresa and Joe Giudice, the TV personality admitted that she sympathizes with the Giudice children - Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. Frankel, who has a daughter, told reporters that the Giudice children "did not sign up for this."
The breakout star from the original series is now promoting her talk show debuting this fall. The show is called "Bethenny". Teresa Giudice followed Frankel's business savvy and like Frankle, came out with a few cookbooks. Giudice's Fabellini was followed by a book on grilling.
Joe Giudice, 43 and his wife Teresa, 41 are facing charges of fraud with a conspiracy to defraud lending institutions. A close friend of Teresa revealed that Mrs. Giudice thinks her husband will take the rap but legal experts say it is highly unlikely that such is going to happen.
Unlike Frankel, Caroline Manzo, another Real Housewives personality said that the indictments the Giudice couple are facing was "unexpected". While Manzo chose to keep mum about the 39-count indictment, she admitted that she and Teresa texted each other when Manzo learned about the fraud case.
Giudice's castmates are supporting the Giudices including Jacqueline Laurita who is barely speaking to Teresa.
