Tomorrow, November 8, history will be made as America votes for Pres. Barack Obama's successor. And as the Republican candidate's Donald Trump delivers more unnecessary remarks, it seems like the Democratic Party's nominee Hillary Clinton receives new supporter-world renowned author George R.R. Martin.
Best known for his "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series, Martin expressed on his blog Friday, that Trump is "unfit to lead this nation." He also added, "You just need to listen to Trump. If you can do that, and still consider voting for him... well... "
As reported by Huffington Post, Martin might be postponing his quest to finish writing his novel's 6th installment to campaign for Clinton. The 68-year-old author wrote his great disapproval of the Republican nominee and expressed his vote for Clinton.
Emmy Awards winner Martin also criticized how Trump falsely used his "full of accusation" political advertisements and sometimes with "distorted positions" attacking Clinton. He also pointed out that Clinton's ads, on the other hand, purely discussed Trump as he is without the unflattering juxtaposed photos.
Towards the end of his blog, Martin expressed his fear over people who still chose to vote for Trump despite all his blunders.
If there's anyone who knows what and how a leader should be, Martin is probably one of them. After all, he created the realm and introduced us to the Iron Throne. He disclosed the seven kingdoms and created powerful Houses that can also be seen in real life.
Martin also revealed allies and connivance that take place among Houses who want to claim the Iron Throne. So if Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton would be guessed in the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones", which house would they fit in?
Martin hailed from Bayonne, New Jersey. In 1991, after taking a break from writing to pursue a teaching career, Martin returned to his first love. He penned the epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" which was apparently inspired by the historic "Wars of the Roses" in England and Ivanhoe, a historical novel by Sir Walter Scott.
His novel was later on adapted into TV series by HBO called "Game of Thrones".
