Fans of the game "Mortal Kombat X" have been waiting patiently for the release of the DLC "Kombat Pack 3." But it seems that the game will experience further delays as creator NetherRealms is busy making its latest game "Injustice 2."
"Mortal Kombat X" is hailed as one of the best Mortal Kombat games in recent years. It reintroduced a stumbling franchise with a solid 10th installment to the newer gamers. So when the another DLC called the "Kombat Pack 3" was teased, gamers were more than happy to welcome and await the downloadable content.
However, according to Game N Guide, co-creator Ed Boon has unconfirmed the "Kombat Pack 3" development for yet unknown reasons. But all signs point to the studio putting all its developmental muscle towards producing a new "Injustice" game.
"Injustice 2" will be a direct sequel to NetherRealms to their 2013 critically acclaimed Video Game, "Injustice: God's Among Us." It became the highest selling game in the United States during the month when it was released. It is no wonder then that the studio will be putting all its resources towards making this game.
It still does not sting less for "Mortal Kombat X" fans. Especially considering the content being teased to be included in the "Kombat Pack 3." According to Parent Herald, the pack was rumored to have characters like Rain, Noob Saibot, Sindel, Baraka, and Fujin.
Fujin as fans might remember made his debut in the much-hated spin-off "Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero." He later appeared in the main game as a playable character.
The good news for fans is that they will just have to face another delay. As rumors point out the "Kombat Pack 3" pack will be pushed towards a March release.
