The chart-topping American reality TV series "The Voice" made history Monday night Nov. 7 after eight contestants were eliminated from the latest round. According to the report, the judges had difficulty choosing who to send home and who should be on the remaining on the top 12 final list.
The 2-hour performance night showcased 20 amazing live performances . The 12 finalists are Christian Cuevas, We McDonald, Sa Rayah, Sundance Head, Austin Allsup, Courtney Harrell, Aaron Gibson, Ali Caldwell, Darby Walker, Josh Gallagher, Billy Gilman and Brendan Fletcher.
On its first live show, the said TV series used real-time voting via Twitter and Voice app to let viewers decide on who will be going to the top 12. According to the report, coaches Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton were struggling to make a painful decision on who gets eliminated.
Dana Harper of Team Blake performed her R&B rendition of "Man-eater". Austin Allsup knocked down his performance as he sang "I Ain't Livin' Look Like This". Jason, on the other hand, took the stage with "One Dance". Sundance Head proved that he's one of the best contenders as he sang "Blue Ain't Your Color". Furthermore, Courtney Harrell performed "It Must Have Been Love."
For Team Miley, funky diva Sophia Urista took to the stage with "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" number, while Darby Walker performed "Those Were The Days", which the judges claimed were the oddest performance of the night. Moreover, Belle Jewel added some twists as she sang "Runaway." Aaron Gibson and Ali Caldwell lighted up the stage as they performed flawlessly with "Round Here" and "Times Have Changed", respectively.
On Team Adam, husky-voice rocker "To Love Somebody" was performed by the husky-voiced rocker, Brendan Fletcher. R&B singer, Simon Gundy did not create a good impact with his rendition of "Diamonds. "Luck Be A Lady" was performed by Riley Elmore. On the other hand, Josh Gallagher and Billy Gilman took the spot as they performed "Colder Weather" and "Crying", respectively.
The judges are expecting more hard-core performances and audiences are expected to have more electrifying performances in the next episode.
