After two whole months since Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 exploded, the tech world is still looking for answers as to why the whole catastrophe occurred. But according to recent reports, the head of the company has already revealed the exact reason why the SpaceX Falcon 9 failed to launch. He even gives an exact month on when people should expect the brand new rockets to launch.
According to Inquisitr, Elon Musk said in an interview that they have finally gotten to the bottom of the problem. And the problem is something that has "never been encountered in the history of rocketry."
The interview further states that the problem lies within the liquid helium being placed into containers from carbon composite materials within the liquid oxygen tank in the rocket. This, in turn, made solid oxygen which could have caused the explosion as it ignited with the carbon composite materials.
This is in line with previous guesses by the company as to why the explosion happened. And now it has officially been confirmed to the public.
The good news is that Tesla Head, Elon Musk has also stated that the problem has already been addressed and that people should expect launches to begin in December. But details of the launch are still a secret up to this point as Musk has failed to disclose them.
According to Space News, Musk considers this project as "the toughest puzzle to solve that we have ever had to solve." He also stated that he had been working with the U.S federal Aviation Administration, NASA, and commercial customers regarding the investigation on the accident.
But now everything looks to be all blue skies for the SpaceX project now, as Musk is pretty confident that they can resume the operations by December rolls around.
