67-year-old Sylvester Stallone lashed out at the Die Hard actor on social networking site Twitter calling Willis, "GREEDY AND LAZY....A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE," after Willis reportedly asked for $1 million a day pay for Expendables 3.
Stallone, the head honcho for Expendables, could not contain his irritability any longer but also announced that Harrison Ford will be cast in Expendables 3.
He tweeted: "WILLIS OUT...HARRISON FORD IN!!!! GREAT NEWS!!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!"
It was confirmed by Stallone's representatives that it is indeed the Die Hard star that Stallone was referring to. Willis appeared in Expendables, and Expendables 2 alongside other action film heroes Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Production for the new Expendables will begin in the latter part of August. It has been confirmed that Jackie Chan will be in the movie as well as Wesley Snipes, Milla Jovovich, and Nicolas Cage aside from veteran actor Harrison Ford.
There are also rumors that director Simon West is looking into casting the hottest female 'action' stars to join the cast. These female stars are no other than Cameron Diaz and Angelina Jolie who both starred in a number of action films.
"I like the idea of the Expenda-Belles where it's seven or eight women mercenaries," Simon told EOnline. "It would be Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Mila Jovovich, the list goes on," the director said, adding, "Helen Mirren, Jamie Lee Curtis would be great."
Terry Crews from Expendables 2 also has a few names in mind when it comes to the expenda-belles. These include Charlize Theron and Kate Beckinsale.
Simon West added though that it won't put the movie franchise's male stars out of a job because the femme fatales will run in parallel in the plot. "They would meet up and then they would fight and they would join up and save each other."
