Missouri State Fair Hoo-ha: Rodeo Clown Impersonates Obama, Almost Gets Run Down By A Bull [VIDEO & REPORT]

A hoo-ha at the Missouri State Fair Saturday night has caught the attention of Americans when a video of clown impersonating US President Barack Obama made the rounds in popular social networking sites. The incident happened during the fair's bull riding event.

According to an onlooker, the announcer of the State Fair asked the audience if they wanted to witness Obama to be "run down by a bull."

The source later posted the video of the incident online and was picked up by local media. The onlooker recalled the event and said, "The crowd went wild. He asked it again and again, louder each time." The onlooker told reporters that a bull came running towards the clown. Other onlookers were "delighted" according to the source. The Missouri State Fair gets its budget from Missouri taxpayers. It has been reported that over $400, 000 was given to the event..

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill was disgusted by the incident and sent out a press release saying,"If what's being reported is true, then it's shameful and it's unacceptable. The State Fair is funded by taxpayer dollars, and is supposed to be a place where we can all bring our families and celebrate the state that we love. But the young Missourians who witnessed this stunt learned exactly the wrong lesson about political discourse -- that somehow it's ever acceptable to, in a public event, disrespect, taunt, and joke about harming the President of our great nation. Missouri is better than this, and I expect someone to be held accountable."

President Barack Obama has been getting a lot of bad press recently because of his policies. Officials of the Fair permanently banned the man behind the mask and said in a statement that he will never perform in the state fair again.

The "performance" was criticized by Republicans and Democrats alike after a video recording of the event made its rounds online.
