History's "Vikings" is nearly back with Season 4 part 2 and Lagertha is faced with devastating news from The Seer. Sources claim that something life changing is heading for the blonde shield maiden, while a threat to Ragnar Lothbrok's life is upon them.
Fans have been waiting for the second half of "Vikings" Season 4 and the wait is almost over as History has announced the release date of the mid-season finale. We are two weeks away from the slated air date and spoilers are ahead.
According to Inquisitr, the fierce Lagertha will receive life-changing news when she consults the all knowing Seer in "Vikings" Season 4 Part 2. Katheryn Winnick, the actress who plays the brave shield maiden apparently let Showbiz Junkies into the frightening news. Although Winnick spilled the beans on what is going in with Lagertha and the Seer, it has yet to be identified what the bad news is exactly. The answer may lie within the actual history of the Vikings.
As told by Gesta Danorum, the English chronicle that holds some Viking stories, the character of Travis Fimmel, Ragnar Lothbrok meets his doom at the hands of King Aelle, played by Ivan Kaye. If the series will stick with the historical stories, this may just be the dark news that the Seer shared with Lagertha.
However, other sources claim that Ragnar's death will occur in another way. According to Entertainment Weekly, a teaser trailer was released that shows Ragnar attempting to take his own life. It is also likely that this is the dire news Lagertha received from The Seer. How Ragnar's death would be 'devastating' for Lagertha is quite vague, as Winnick did inform fans that her character has her eyes on the Kattegat throne. Lagertha believes neither Ragnor or Aslaug is fitting to rule the territory as it is one of the largest trading centers of their age.
The only way to find out what The Seer revealed to Lagethra is to watch the premiere of "Vikings" Season 4 part 2 as it airs on November 30 at 9 p.m. ET on History Channel. Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates on this historic tale.
