Europe has not been exactly doing well economically since the last decade. However, things are looking up for the foreseeable future as Nestle announced its vow to provide at least 3,000 jobs for young adults living in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Given this projection, the renowned global conglomerate is just getting started! The upcoming job opportunities in the British Isles is just the first step in the massive development campaign involving over 200 other huge corporations.
Dubbed as "Nestle Needs YOUth", the overall goal of the project is to employ young people all over Europe, Africa, and the Middle East in the succeeding generations. According to an article published by Food Manufacture Co. UK, Nestle is looking at a total of 35,000 job opportunities within their multi-regional scope.
It is interesting to take note that Nestle has already successfully produced a total of more than 2,000 career opportunities worldwide since 2014. The Nestle UK & Ireland CEO, Fiona Kendrick, mentioned that Nestle is carrying on its legacy to "support and develop the young talent of today to become the future leaders of tomorrow."
In a similar article published by York Press Co. UK, Nestle will be prioritizing graduates from the following courses at the initial stage of this project:
1. Food Manufacture and Confectionary
2. Information Technology
3. Management
Nestle's upcoming project seems to offer equal opportunity for both blue collar and white collar skilled workers. Speaking of which, an article featured in Jobs & Hire describes how North America seems to gear its path towards revolutionizing infrastructure and commercial manufacturing.
For now, there is a total of 115,000 young Europeans working under Nestle. Their partnership with the Alliance For YOUth since 2014 has kept the promise of a better future shining brightly amidst the contentious events unfolding in the EU zone (e.g. Brexit).
