The horror-drama series will come back with more surprises as Madison and Travis struggle for survival in the apocalyptic world. According to Ecumenical News, Travis Manawa(Cliff Curtis)will become more aggressive as he continues to protect his family. Travis' morals and beliefs will change in "Fear The Walking Dead" season 3, after learning about the death of his son, Chris, who was killed in season 2.
"Fear The Walking Dead" season 3 plot spoilers have also leaked out that the next season would reveal the birthplace of the zombie virus. There's a possibility that Nick might have a connection on how everything started. Fans have voiced out that this would be a good plot since it would deviate from its counterpart, "The Walking Dead," where Rick and his group only focuses on survival.
AMC announced that "Fear The Walking Dead" season 3 will air next year having 16 episodes compared to season 1 and season 2 which had 6 and 15 episodes respectively. The second season had an average of 4.19M viewers and has a rating of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Season 2 had a 7% decrease in ratings compared to its predecessor, but the spin-off series continues to intrigue fans with its independent story line. "Fear The Walking Dead" season 3 is expected to have an increase in its fan base next season, especially that AMC continues to release webisodes of "Fear The Walking Dead: Passage."
